Bond University
Stand Out
Established in 1989, Bond University has been ranked number one for students experience in Australia for the past 16 years. It has Australia’s lowest student-to-teach ratio and was Australia’s first private, not-for-profit university. In 2018, 2019 and 2020, Australian employers said they were more satisfied with Bond graduates than those from any other university.
During the past 30 years, Bond University has become one of Australia’s leading tertiary institutions, renowned for its expertise in study areas ranging from business, law, medicine, architecture, and data analytics, to film and television, communication, sports management, and occupational therapy.
The University has strong links with Japan, and was founded as a joint venture between Bond Corporation Holdings and Japanese development company, EIE. The designer of Bond’s iconic Arch – Japanese architect Arata Isozaki – wass an award winner of the 2019 Pritzker Prize.
In 1998 Japanese strategy guru, Dr Kenichi Ohmae established Business Breakthrough (BBT) and, with Bond University, he co-developed an MBA degree tailored to the needs of modern Japanese businesses. Since then, the innovative BBT Global Leadership MBA, which was launched in 2001 has now produced more than 1100 graduates.
